Ken's career in the agricultural chemical industry started in 1981 when he was recruited from a highly regarded law firm to join the U.S. subsidiary of FBC Limtied, then a joint venture of Fisons, Ltd. and Boots PLC, as General Counsel and Secretary. That role continued until his retirement through a succession of acquisitions which saw the controlling parent change from Fisons and Boots to Schering AG, to Hoechst Schering AgrEvo GmbH, to Aventis SA to Bayer AG.
Admitted to the Bars of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia, Ken holds the Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration degrees from George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
